The name MadeWest Brewing Company has become synonymous with quality craft beer and a deep-rooted connection to the local community. Founded by best friends Mike Morrison and Seth Gibson, MadeWest was born from a shared dream to bring exceptional brews to their hometown of Ventura. What began in 2013 with the support of family and friends became a reality in 2016—and today, MadeWest is a staple of the Ventura County craft beer scene.
One of their favorite ways to stay connected with the community? The Casa Pacifica Angels Wine, Food & Brew Festival.
We caught up with Veronica Navarro, MadeWest’s dynamic Sales Manager, to hear why this festival holds a special place in their hearts—and on their calendar.
“It’s one of our favorite events,” Veronica shared. “We love to give back and be part of a community where we help each other out.”
From early morning setup to authentic conversations with festival-goers, the event is filled with moments MadeWest values. But beyond the good vibes, there’s also a major business benefit.
“There are places that don’t carry our beer, and they get to try it at the Festival,” Veronica explained. The exposure helps expand their reach, attract new customers, and create fresh opportunities.
